Trace-ecarT
An architectural project, a music
Antoine Muller, architect, GMAA Geneva
"Trace-ecarT" evokes our desire to be inspired by history while distancing ourselves from it. The shifts let the light penetrate to the foundations of the building, and the interior facades become shifted mirrors.
Christophe Sturzenegger, composer
"Trace-ecarT" is inspired by two of the themes of Franz Liszt's Preludes. The alphorn, in addition to the Helvetic reminder, is the tradition, the original trace. The modern horn, symbol of the evolution of the instrument, which sometimes deviates from this tradition.
