Tandem - François Desforges
For two timpanists and piano accompaniment
TANDEM is a patchwork made up of works from the orchestral repertoire which use two timpanists. The excerpts used are the object of real sectional work between the two timpanists.
It is the reason for which I named this piece TANDEM even if, in reality, it is actually a trio with piano accompaniment. The latter helps to put the different musical extracts into context.
